The board has about 100 regular posters from all walks of life. Some of us are bankers, loan officers, small businesswomen, chemists, students, Armed Forces members, stripclub deejays, and so on. It's a great mix of people with all kinds of backgrounds and interests. And we all share our knowledge.
If you make it to that board, seek out WendyBG who is basically the caretaker of this great discussion board.
Today, Monday August 6, 2007 is going to be a day the board will closely follow the continuing saga of the Credit Market and Hedge Fund implosions . . . which many of us feel is a bigger story than the Housing Market Crash.
By the way, Motley Fool "polices" its boards. You cannot turn it into a Yahoo message board where trolls use bad language or issue constant threats on your life, etc. Yes, we have differing opinions and we sometimes have to sustain personal attacks, but usually the community will take a miscreant to task for bad behavior. However, if you really abuse the Terms of Agreement, you will be banned from using Motley Fool message boards. Therefore, once you get there, take in 100 messages in a row to get the flavor of how posters comport themselves . . . usually.
