Beta Test of New Video Lineup

I'm trying out different video cues this evening. That's why I've not been adding the usual amount of news on www.a1anews.com today.

I like the top video cue more than the bottom video cue. I like having the video cue to the side.

The reason I'm going for video cues is this: page uploads slow way down when I plant 3 or more videos in a row, bam, bam, bam (etc.). By using video cues, I have smaller images to the right with a brief synopsis of the video news story.

I'm seeing the web page still load slowly, but after using a stopwatch, I find the cue method (with video menus on the right) the best alternative out here for now.

By the way, the bottom video menu (the one with all the CBS news) is one put together by a pro video editor. The top one is one I custom built with my own news feeds.

I'm looking for other video news feeds other than youtube. If any of you have knowledge in video embedding and and sites where I can pick up videos, adjust the sound from my laptop (too many videos plugged on the net have poor sound quality), let me know, please.

Thanks,
Rock over and out

Demo of Adobe Creative Suite 3

I wish I could grab the html code for the Adobe video, but since I can't, we've got the next best thing . . . the URL address.

When you open this link, let the Adobe demo load (could take 10 to 60 seconds). After it loads, take the slider bar and slide it as far as you can to the right. Incredible hi-def computer generated clip which shows off the power of Adobe's newest software . . . .

Enjoy!

He's Mad As Hell And He's Not Gonna Take It Anymore!

WARNING! If bad language easily upsets you, do not, repeat, do not open this video. If, however, you want to hear how blue collar Americans are talking these days about the coddled bankers, Masters of the Universe and crooked politicians who who brought us the worst Recession since the Great Depression, then open up this video.

If you recognize this guy's anxiety and anger in people who cross your daily lives, then you will understand this foul-mouthed commentator is saying things working class Americans are saying to friends, family and strangers. This is funny anger and a rant worthy of guys who've worked a hard 40 hour week and are sitting at a Friday happy hour.

This is the kind of rant you'd like to see just once from a network commentator, just like Peter Finch gave in the film "Network". As an "extra", I've added the "Network" clip to follow this guy's clip from youtube.

It's time to get back to work, America . . . but like this ranting commentator says, we need to do away with all these bastards who've destroyed this country all in the name of greed!

Yep, there are times I feel like opening the window and screaming, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!"

P.S. To my readers from http://www.a1anews.com/ . . . this blog . . . Rock Trueblood's Watchworld . . . is where I do my own commentary on the Economy.

I'd like to welcome you aboard here.

I would also like to thank Patrick at http://www.patrick.net/ for spotlighting this blog every once in a while. If readers of A1A News have never seen Patrick's website, click on the link I just handed you. He's the best source for housing related news out here on the net! I use 2 or 3 of his links every day at A1A News and leave in his source code hoping more of you will check out his site. Give it a try today.
